Shop Saver - Group Project

This is a project I worked on with 4 others. The aim was to design a product, create engineering drawings for this, and then swap drawings with another group to allow us to manufacture each others design. The Shop Saver is the product that we designed, and then assisted the other group in the manufacturing.

The whole idea behind the design is to create a simple interactive magnet that will allow the user to keep track of things they need to buy when shopping. It is easily pocketable to can be carried to and from the supermarket, acting as a simplistic shopping list when at the store.

The shape of the rear allows for the Shop Helper to be tipped forwards creating a space to store vouchers and club cards - the magnets are strong enough to hold itself in position allowing for single handed use.
